Social outreach Program
We organize free eye checkup camp for adults in the community (urban & rural) to identify cataract and other eye diseases. We are also providing cataract surgeries for elderly patients free of cost as well as at a subsidized price.
Vision Centre screening
- Susrut runs 19 vision centers (as of July 2019) in the community to provide comprehensive eye care by integrating it with information technology effectively, that would facilitate providing quality care at the doorsteps of the rural and urban population.
- Collaborate with the community to promote eye health education and create awareness proactively.
- Change the health seeking behavior of the community and thereby slowly move away from camps to a sustainable Centre based approach.
Vision Van screening
Vision Van presents a revolutionary eye care concept for urban and rural areas. The vision van as a holistic system integrates numerous innovative technologies for final-stage delivery and thus sets the performance standards and solutions for future generations. Vision van takes the primary service to the remote areas to provide better service to the community people.
