  • Objective Of Fellowship In Clinical Optometry

    Susrut Eye Foundation & Research Centre is one of the tertiary institutes in eye care service providing fellowship in optometry in highly sought over sub-specialities in ophthalmology such as cataract, paediatric, retina etc.

    In all fellowship programmes equal weightage is provided on theoritical and hands on expertise on the subject. Six months fellowship program in Optometry provides comprehensive hands on experience to the budding Optometrists which will make them self reliant in individual or institution practice.

    Fellowship has been designed essentially to train optometrists to refine and master their clinical and diagnostic skills.

    Course Overview

    Applications are invited for Optometry fellowship, a course from candidates with degree/diploma in Optometry. Fellowship is available on:-

    Pediatric optometry (OPD & OT)
    Retina and retinal diagnostics (OPD & OT)
    Cataract and Biometry (OPD & OT)

     
     
    Course Frequency

    Frequency of the course is 2 times annually (January and July).
     

    Duration

    The duration of the course is 6 months.
